Using Images from the Virtual Egyptian Museum

All images in the Virtual Egyptian Museum are copyrighted. Unauthorized use is expressly prohibited. The Virtual Egyptian Museum Project, an operating program of the California Institute of World Archaeology (CIWA) grants permission to download images from our web site for personal, non commercial use and for use by teachers in classrooms and course catalogs or for fair use as defined in the United States copyright laws. In such use, the copyright notice embedded in the image may not be altered or cropped out. Downloading images for use on other web sites, personal or commercial, is expressly prohibited. Requests for all other uses must be made in writing. Each request is separately considered, and permission is granted on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of the Virtual Egyptian Museum Project.
