This bronze vessel has a body shaped like an apple, nearly horizontal shoulders, a broad neck that tapers in, and a mouth that flares out slightly. Two graceful handles curve up, then down from the mouth to the shoulders, where they attach to the body with a decorative element in the image of a man's face with a large beard. Asia Minor, circa 400 BC.
