This terracotta jug presents a squat, symmetrical body. it dates back to the Old Kingdom, Dynasty 4. It was handmade, neck turned, spout applied.
Bourriau (1981:52) documents a similar item as a squat symmetrical ewer, H: 21.2 cm. D: 16.6 cm. Ashmolean Museum, gift of Egypt Exploration Society from Cemeteries of Armant.
