A miniature world of the whole community was recreated. One of the largest collections of Middle Kingdom wooden models ever found comes from the tomb of Djhuty-Nakht, from Deir el-Bersha, now housed in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and the Cairo Museum. Djhuty-Nakhts burial chamber contained more than fifty-five boats (Bard 1999:726).
