This bronze vessel with a long spout is decorated on the rim and handles with circular motifs. Such motifs were popular in Crete in the paleo-palatial period (2000-1700 BC), on diadems found in Mycenaean tombs around 1600 BC, and in ancient Iran, Gialon or Mozanderan, at the end of the second millennium BC (see numbers 1053, 1054, and 15 of this collection).
